The Jacksonville Parks and Lakes Department made the announcement this week that a two week period of only catch and release fly-fishing starts Saturday. The spring trout season opens for catch and keep on April 2nd.
All anglers must have a valid fishing license and an Inland Trout Stamp, which can be purchased where licenses are sold. The daily catch limit for each angler is five trout.
