It happened reportedly at the Sonic drive-in in the 1800 block of West Morton at around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday.
According to reports, a black male in his mid-40s, with a thin build, about six-feet and less than 200 pounds, with a goatee and a black-hooded sweatshirt, took a thousand dollars and left on foot northbound on Westgate Avenue.
Reports indicate the man was armed with a blunt object.
