It’s a longer workshop than usual for Jacksonville aldermen as they prepare for tonight’s annual audit presentation after two weeks off.
Aldermen also will discuss two Tax Increment Financing applications for property at 110 North East Street and 74 East Central Park Plaza, and property rezoning requests for 839 and 847 South Main, and 6 Clarke Drive.
City Council will get an update on the new water treatment plant from the Benton and Associates engineering firm.
In action items, aldermen will vote on a lease agreement between the cityi and Western Illinois youth Camp, and resolutions on the aforementioned TIF projects and rezoning requests.
Everything gets underway at 6 p.m. at the Jacksonville Municipal Building.
