For the second time this week, Greene County deputies were involved in a high speed chase.

The pursuit ended in Jerseyville when Ring collided with a squad car being driven by a Jersey County deputy sheriff, causing significant damage to both vehicles.

Ring was taken into custody at the Greene County Jail and charged with Reckless Driving, Felony Driving While Revoked, Felony DUI, Aggravated Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Speeding and two violations for Disobeying Stop Signs.

Ring, who has a history of DIU related arrests, had a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit.
