The Illinois Department of Transportation is announcing daytime lane restrictions on the Beardstown Bridge that carries U.S. 67 over the Illinois River starting today.
The restrictions are necessary for crews to perform minor repairs to the bridge. Traffic will be restricted to one lane controlled by flaggers. Work is expected to last one to two weeks, weather permitting.
