A Jacksonville man is behind bars for alleged aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
According to Lieutenant Doug Thompson with the Jacksonville Police Department, 54-year old Paul Kluge, of the 200 block of Pine, was brought in to the department yesterday for questioning regarding alleged criminal sexual abuse.
Lieutenant Thompson says Jacksonville Police had received reports of alleged sexual abuse committed by Kluge days prior. Based on the report, Thompson says detectives with the Jacksonville Police Department questioned Kluge yesterday over allegations of inappropriately touching a juvenile, who was allegedly known to Kluge.
After questioning, Thompson says JPD detectives felt they had enough probable cause to place Kluge under arrest for aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Kluge was subsequently booked at the Morgan County jail at approximately 4 p.m. yesterday, where he currently remains in custody.
