The next principal of Lincoln Elementary was introduced to the public during Wednesday’s District 117 meeting.
Sue Lovdahl is in her fifth year teaching kindergarten at North Elementary and will take over the principal role at Lincoln next year.
Lovdahl’s first teaching role was actually a reading teacher position at Lincoln.
Superintendent Steve Ptacek says Lovdahl “had one of the best interviews he has ever been a part of” and is excited about her enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for students.
Earlier this month, current Lincoln principal Paul Monrad announced he would resign at the end of the year.
