A Roodhouse man avoids jail time for a May 2014 incident at a Roodhouse bar.

Twenty-nine-year-old Dustin Davis was sentenced in Greene County Court last week to 30 months of probation after pleading guilty to criminal damage to property.

Police reports indicate Davis was allegedly in an altercation with several people in the alley behind the Two Dog Bar and Grill. Witnesses stated Davis got into a vehicle not belonging to him and crashed the vehicle into the building.

Two people reportedly sought medical treatment for injuries.

Other charges that were filed, including aggravated battery and lesser criminal damage to property charges, were dropped as part of the plea deal.

Davis was also ordered to perform 30 hours of community service, submit to random drug testing, was fined $250 and was ordered to pay over $14,000 in restitution.

Davis was represented by Attorney Ron Kesinger.
