Jacksonville Police are looking for more information regarding an individual who was allegedly attacked with a hammer on Monday night.
According to a press release, Jacksonville Police responded to the 1-thousand block of West Morton at around 8:45 p.m. in reference to a male subject bleeding and claiming to be attacked with a hammer.
The 29-year-old victim, who is not being named at this time, was transported to Passavant Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were unable to locate the suspect at the scene and the incident remains under investigation.
