According to Casscomm’s website, some customers have said they’ve gotten a pop-up ad that says they’ve won something from the company. Casscomm stresses they don’t communicate with customers via pop-up ads.
The company adds it’s been recently notified in regards to scams on past-due accounts and callers wanting customers to pay in full for periods of six months or more. Casscomm does not have a live person making calls for either of those issues, according to its website.
The company says it uses an automated call system to remind customers of past-due accounts, and does not ask for customers to pay accounts early nor does it ask for credit card information over the phone.
