Say goodbye to Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois and hello to Memorial Behavioral Health.

To stress the importance of behavioral health to overall wellness and strengthen its connection to Memorial Health System, Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois will now be known as Memorial Behavioral Health.

The Jacksonville location at 340 West State has been renamed Memorial Behavioral Health-Jacksonville.

Memorial Behavioral Health President Jan Gambach stated in a press release that, “Memorial Behavioral Health continues to grow to meet the needs of our community and, like those who came before us, we are committed to seeking the most innovative methods to drive our community toward a more healthy and whole vision of wellness.”

Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois became an affiliate of Memorial Health Systems in 1996 and currently serves more than 9,000 individuals in Morgan, Scott, Mason, Logan, Menard and Sangamon Counties.

Memorial Behavioral’s 250-member staff cares for children, adolescents and adults in need of crisis intervention, psychiatric services, outpatient therapy and recovery management.
