An active methamphetamine lab was discovered in Greene County on Thursday.
According to a Greene County Sheriff’s Department press release, a search warrant was executed at around 7 p.m. in Eldred. Joined by the Greene County Multi-Agency Response Team, Greene County Deputies searched the premises and found chemicals, materials and supplies related to manufacturing of meth.
More than 30 grams, but less than 500 grams of cannabis, along with more than five cannabis sativa plants were found at the residence as well.
Arrested at the residence were 61-year old James Richey and 45-year old Shanda Griffin, both of Eldred. An additional charge of Child Endangerment was added to both Richey and Griffin, due to a person under 18 years old being present at the home when meth was being manufactured.
