The entertainment lineup for one of the area’s most anticipated summer events is being announced with a star-studded list of names.
This year’s Morgan County Fair is set to take place between July 11th and July 15th, with musical performances by a number of country music’s biggest stars taking the stage that Friday and Saturday night.
Just recently, the Morgan County Fair Board released the news regarding who would be performing at this year’s fair. Among the biggest names on that list is Dustin Lynch, a 32-year old Tennessee native who’s been topping charts with hits for nearly six years. While Lynch’s first two albums debuted at number one and number two on “Billboard’s” Top Country Album charts, his third and most recent album, CURRENT MOOD, reveals Lynch’s blossoming talent amongst country music’s biggest superstars.
Dustin Lynch has been chosen as the headliner for Saturday night, July 14th, at the Morgan County Fair. Opening for Dustin Lynch will be the music duo “Brown and Gray,” who have over two million streams, one million YouTube plays, and over 20-thousand downloads. The duo is brand new to the country music scene, and features Kaci Brown and Sam Gray.
As for Friday, July 13th, while no opening act has been decided yet, the night’s headliner has been announced. Friday night’s headliner will be Kane Brown, a Georgia native with a deep drawl that’s often drawn comparisons to singers like Josh Turner and Chris Young. Brown rose to prominence as a teenager while posting various cover songs on his YouTube channel. From there, he has gone on to become one of the most exciting rising stars in county music.
