More than four-million-dollars in grants are being awarded to 120 Illinois cities, thanks to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
According to a press release, the annual grants can be used for day-to-day operations of local emergency preparedness and response programs.
In the four-county-area, Morgan County is getting $21,330.88 and Scott County will receive $5,549.23.
Totals were determined by a base amount plus population-based formulas.
