A Murrayville man has been arrested for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 13.

Twenty-year-old Jacob McGlasson was also booked at the Morgan County Jail at around 3 p.m. yesterday for sexual exploitation of a child victim under 13.

Few details are available. The Jacksonville Journal-Courier reports a member of the victim’s family contacted authorities to tell them McGlasson had made some type of sexual contact with a child in rural Murrayville.

The paper reports the victim is known to McGlasson and there was no use of force in the alleged incident. The exploitation charge stems from a police report indicating McGlasson exposed himself sometime in late August to the same child.

McGlasson remains in custody.
