A Roodhouse man is facing a laundry list of charges following an alleged high-speed chase in Greene County.
Thirty-five-year-old Aaron Link was booked at the Greene County Jail Wednesday morning at around 1:30 for aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, improper lane usage, DUI, and a Madison County warrant for felony home repair fraud.
According to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Link was pulled over by Roodhouse Police during a traffic stop Tuesday night at around 11:00. Police say Link didn’t stop and headed towards White Hall on Route 106, then down Route 67.
From White Hall, Link allegedly travelled west towards Hillview on the blacktop, then turned south from Hillview and went a half-mile on the Hillview-Eldred blacktop. According to reports, a Greene County Deputy joined Roodhouse and White Hall police in the chase and boxed Link in on the blacktop.
Police say the chase reached speeds of 80 miles per hour at times. No injuries or vehicle damage were reported.
Link remains in custody.
