An update is being provided on the progress of construction of Passavant Area Hospital’s new Behavioral Health Unit.
According to a press release, current work is focused on wall framing with drywall work and cabling for electricity and data to closely follow.
The unit is being funded through a one-million-dollar gift from the estate of Howard and Vera Million, which was announced last year.
The unit is being constructed on the third floor of the hospital.
Passavant officials say construction is expected to be complete in early may, with patient occupancy scheduled for June.
