Did West Central Illinois have a close encounter with an object from space this morning?
WLDS-WEAI received a phone call at noon from someone who said he was in downtown Jacksonville at around 11:45 when he saw a bright flash of light in the sky, and a long tail.
Since we posted the question on our Facebook page, more than dozen people said they saw something in Jacksonville or the surrounding area.
