A Jacksonville grocery store is closing.

The Jacksonville Journal-Courier talked to Save-a-Lot owner Tom Harmon, who said the store, located in the Lincoln Square shopping complex, will close in September.

Harmon is the owner of several County Market stores in Illinois, including the Jacksonville location, as well as one other Save-a-Lot in Southern Illinois; that store, located in Marion, closed earlier this summer.

Store officials told the city paper the seven employees at Save-a-Lot will work at the County Market in the 1200 block of West Morton.
