The second installment of real estate taxes is due today for Morgan County residents.
Taxes can be paid by mail, at most banks or savings & loan associations in Morgan County or the County Treasurer’s Office at the County Courthouse.
Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
An online option is available through debit or credit payment at morgancounty-il.com.
Illinois Statues require 1 ½ percent per month or part of the monthly penalty for payments made after the due date. All payments made after the due date must include interest penalty.
