Sister Connelly selected as MacMurray Baccalaureate speaker

MacMurray College is announcing its keynote speaker for the 165th Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremony.

Sister Rosemary Connelly, a member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy, will lead the May 7th event at Annie Merner Chapel. Connelly also serves as executive director of Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago.

MacMurray will award an honorary Doctor of Public Service to Francis Kateh as well. Kateh is a 1991 MacMurray graduate and currently a chief medical officer for the Republic of Liberia.

The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, starts at 10:30 a.m.
