Board members will vote on the approval of 1985 Woods Drive as a location of a possible medical marijuana cultivation facility in the village.
This has been a topic Village President Gordon Jumper has brought up at multiple meetings recently, hoping to get board members up to speed with the process.
South Jacksonville is one of around 400 applicants for a medical marijuana center.
Board members will also take action on the village’s concerning water and sewer fund, which is currently at a $250,000 deficit.
With sewer rates increasing each year in South Jacksonville, Jumper has requested that sewer rates be doubled from $15 to $30 a month for customers.
Other items of interest on the agenda include a recap of the results from Concert in the Cornfield, plans for the Toys for Tots Campaign and the appointment of a new building inspector, police officer and administrative assistant at the South Jacksonville Police Department.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall Board Room
