The 2016-2017 budget will take center stage during tonight’s South Jacksonville board of trustees meeting.

During a special meeting earlier this month, trustees discussed the possibility of improving the village’s IT system, fire truck and water meters.

In other action, trustees will vote on an ordinance involving rules of operation for golf carts.

There will also be updates on the Concert in the Cornfield and ongoing gazebo project.

Before the regular meeting at 7 p.m. starts, trustees will hold a committee meeting at 6:30 p.m. to go over the Whewell proposed TIF project and tourism grant applications.
