Morgan County has been issued a final property assessment factor, or multiplier, of 1.0, according to the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Assessments in Morgan County are at 32.99 percent of market value, based on sales of properties from 2012 to 2014.

The equalization factor was unchanged from last year. The equalization factor is determined annually for each county by comparing the price of individual properties sold over the past three years to the assessed value placed on those properties by the county supervisor of assessments and county assessor.

The filing deadline is January 31st.
