A two-vehicle accident on West Morton this afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
According to reports from the Jacksonville Police Department, 23-year-old Kendra Graham of the 1-thousand block of East Morton was pulling out of McDonald’s parking lot at around 12:45 p.m.
Report claim Graham failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Chelsea Adams of the 14-hundred block of East Railroad, causing the cars to collide.
Graham suffered an injury from the accident and was taken to Passavant Area Hospital for treatment. Graham has since been treated and released.
A citation was issued to Graham for failure to yield.
