Worrell earns award for farmland real estate dedication

The owner of Jacksonville-based Worrell Land Services has been named the 2015 Illinois Farm & Land Broker of the Year.

The honor was presented to Allan Worrell by the Illinois Farm & Land Chapter of the Realtor’s Land Institute during a banquet in Bloomington.

According to a press release from the Worrell Land Services website, Worrell has spent the past 38 years managing, appraising, selling and buying farmland real estate.

Some of Worrell’s accomplishments include being a Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Hall of Fame inductee, being named president of the Jacksonville Area Association of Realtors and serving on the ASFMRA Young Professionals, By Laws & Education Committees as chairman.

Worrell manages 17,000 acres in central and western Illinois.
