A Springfield-based construction supply company is in the process of expanding to Jacksonville.

E-Bolt Supply co-owner Cori Blair says the six-year-old businesses is opening a second location on East Morton at the former Production Express building.

Blair says E-Bolt Supply caters to contractors and janitors, as well as individuals involved with maintenance and repairs.

“We have a 12-thousand square foot building in Springfield and most of our warehousing capabilities are here. Primarily we have Milwaukee power tools, nuts and bolts, ladders, rigging equipment, safety glass, hearing protection and hard hat. Basically anything you need to build on the construction side or the manufacturing side,” says Blair.

Blair says moving to Jacksonville was an easy decision for E-Bolt Supply.

“We actually already have a good base of business in Jacksonville. We already have people employed with us that live in Jacksonville. Because we already have the employees on staff, plus they live and work over here, it just made sense,” says Blair.

Shelving is currently being added to the building, which is expected to be opened within the next 60 days.

Blair says E-Bolt Supply is a major distributor to businesses across Central Illinois and hopes to expand further in the future.
