A local congressman recently passed a constituent service milestone, closing his 1,000th case for the 18th District.
Over the past 10 months, constituents from Central Illinois have contacted Representative Darin LaHood for assistance pertaining to federal issues involving veteran’s affairs, immigration, passports and Social Security.
In a press release LaHood stated, “My top priority when taking this office was to stay focused on the district and assure constituents service was provided to those needing assistance. My hope is that this milestone serves as a reminder that my offices are here to help if there are any issues constituents are facing while navigating the federal bureaucracy.”
LaHood’s district offices include Jacksonville, Springfield, Peoria and Bloomington.
