Anyone who missed out on owning a piece of the JHS Bowl floor will have another chance tomorrow.
Jacksonville Public Schools Foundation Executive Amy Albers announced today that due to an overwhelming response to the initial sale of sections of the hardwood floor held the first week of September, another sale will be held tomorrow, Wednesday September 30th.
Albers says since so many people have wanted a piece of JHS Crimson history from The Bowl, the Public Schools Foundation had more pieces that were able to be cut into more manageable sizes. She says special thanks are owed to Gary and Linda Donovan of Jacksonville for cutting down to size the large pieces that were left over from the first sale.
Albers says the sale will again take place at the JHS Bowl from 4 to 6 pm tomorrow, and that most pieces will be priced around $30.00 to $45.00. Decals for use in commemorating the pieces will also be available.
