Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central Illinois will hold orientations this evening for the first time since reorganizing in Jacksonville. Orientations are scheduled tonight at the new offices located at the old Early Years building at 110 Walnut Court. Parent and Child Orientation is scheduled for at 5:30pm, Volunteer Orientation is scheduled at 7:00pm.
Brian Ganz of Big Brothers-Big Sisters says that fundraising since the reorganization has been steady in order to reach the group’s $40,000 goal to begin full services. Ganz said that the Jacksonville Bar-To-Bar Challenge has already dedicated the funds its going to raise towards that goal in 2020, which should put the group at or near their goal before their big fundraiser Bowl For Kids Sake.
