Currently, Ameren-Illinois is reporting a power outage for approximately 1600 customers on the west end of Jacksonville stretch from Westgate Avenue to Wesley Chapel. Outages began being reported at approximately 10AM. Ameren say that a downed power line was the problem and that power should be restored to everyone around 3:15PM.
