Charges have been dropped against a Jacksonville woman who was arrested in 2015 after police discovered between 500 and 2,000 grams of cannabis inside her residence.

Twenty-three-year-old Querida Guider was booked at the Morgan County jail on March 5th last year, along with 28-year-old Jevon Walton of the 400 block of West Douglas.

After investigating the matter, Assistant State’s Attorney Chad Turner believes Walton was the owner of the pot and was selling it out of Guider’s residence.

Walton received a nine-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections in April for marijuana trafficking.

Guider was dismissed from the charges on June 9th in Morgan County Court.
