The Illinois State Police have identified the person killed in a car crash on U.S. 67 in southern Greene County on Monday morning.

Illinois State Police officials say that 64-year old Kenneth R. Crull of Carrollton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred at 10:36 a.m. on Monday, approximately 2 miles north of Kane, near U.S. 67’s intersection with S.E. 175th Avenue.

Two other individuals were also injured in the three-vehicle collision. 37-year old Daniel J. Blair of Elberson, Iowa was taken by helicopter to a regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 57-year old Julie A. Jackson of White Hall was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for minor injuries.

State police said Blair was traveling north on U.S. 67 when his silver 2012 Chevy Malibu crossed the center line into the southbound lane and sideswiped a southbound red 2023 Chevy Blazer driven by Jackson. Blair’s car then spun sideways in front of a gray 2004 GMC Sierra also traveling southbound driven by Crull, directly behind Jackson’s SUV.

State Police say investigation into the crash is ongoing.
