The Cass County Health Department has reported its 2nd COVID-19 related death. In a press release from CCHD spokesperson yesterday afternoon, the victim is a 92 year old female who was diagnosed as a part of an outbreak at a long-term care facility. The woman passed away on Saturday morning.
CCHD also reported 6 additional cases yesterday, The positive cases include a female in her 70s, a male in his 80s, two females in their 80s, and two females in their 90s. All patients are a part of a long-term facility outbreak, and are isolated in that facility.
There was one additional long term care facility staff member that lives outside of Cass County who has also tested positive.
Cass County’s overall Covid-19 case count is now at 129. The total number recovered is at 79.
