Crime Stoppers of Morgan, Scott & Cass Counties are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation of a recent hit-and-run accident on the city’s north side.
At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 3rd, a vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole in the 200 block of North Prairie Street. The vehicle then left the scene southbound on North Prairie.
The vehicle was described as a black Jeep that will have damage to the front bumper.
The police are asking that anyone who has information concerning this incident, or any other crimes within the three-county area, submit an anonymous tip online by going to www.morganscottcrimestoppers.webs.com or calling Crime Stoppers at 217-243-7300.
