The two-year term of a federal grand jury that heard evidence against former Jacksonville Congressman Aaron Schock has expired, but he isn’t off the hook just yet.
According to our reporting partners at WICS ABC Newschannel 20, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Springfield confirms that another grand jury has already been called in.
The next scheduled session for the newer panel is August 2nd.
Schock is under federal questioning about spending habits while he was in office. He resigned last year.
