Former Meredosia Man Wanted for Repair Fraud Turns Self in

A former Meredosia man wanted in Calhoun County for home repair fraud is behind bars at this hour.

33 year old Brandon J. Howell was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 12:36 pm after, turning himself in to Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Howell, who is listed as homeless, was arrested on the Calhoun County warrant for home repair fraud, and also charges of failure to appear on charges of speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and illegal possession and transportation of liquor.

Howell was the subject of a Two Rivers Crime Stoppers of Jersey, Calhoun and Greene Counties alert stating he was wanted in Calhoun County on Class 4 felony charges of home repair fraud, and that Howell may have been posting to Facebook for home remodeling under the name of Southern Boys Flooring and Renovation LLC.

Howell is currently being held at the Morgan County Jail
