Home dedication set for Habitat for Humanity

The Jubilee Habitat for Humanity is performing a home dedication this morning.

Ground breaking for the house at 861 Hardin Avenue took place in June of 2016 and marks the 22nd dedication for the local chapter.

Deanna Seymour, the proud new owner of the house, is originally from Franklin. She says she heard about the opportunity to get a zero-interest loan to build the house- and the volunteer labor that comes along with a Habitat house- through a co-worker at Knollwood Retirement Village.

Seymour also completed 250 hours of community service as part of the deal.

The dedication starts at 10 a.m.
