Jacksonville’s newest grocer is set to open on Tuesday morning.
Hy-Vee will open for business at the former County Market location at 1255 West Morton Avenue at 7AM.
Hy-Vee announced the purchase of the County Market location back in early September. Hy-Vee has already started making an impact in the Jacksonville area by donating food to the Jacksonville Area Food Pantry, making appearances at the Jacksonville Main Street Pumpkin Festival yesterday, and by making special deliveries to area business with samples of their fresh market food.
The first major event at the new location is a Trick or Treat event on Saturday, October 28th from 10AM-1PM. Hy-Vee has been doing giveaways for the past week on their Facebook Page in anticipation of their grand opening.
The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will have an official ribbon cutting to open the store on Tuesday at 10AM.
