Jacksonville Night returning to Busch Stadium

Mayor Andy Ezard and CNB Bank & Trust’s Shelly Singleton appeared on WLDS’ “What’s On Your Mind?” this morning to promote the May 6th event featuring the St. Louis Cardinals hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ezard says this is the first Jacksonville Night at Busch Stadium since the 1970s and the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Jacksonville Area Baseball program.

“That organization has really picked up the slack for youth baseball. They are actually going in with the Jacksonville Pony Colt Association, so their umbrella is getting bigger. They have a solid group of individuals in the community, they have changed the facilities out there and it is really a destination for youth baseball in this town.”

You can purchase left field box seats for $30 at CNB Bank & Trust in Jacksonville or online at www.cnbil.com.

The ticket will include a replica 1946 World Series Championship Ring.

Singleton hopes to sell over 1,000 tickets and make Jacksonville Night an annual event at Busch Stadium.
