JMS Updates Phone System

Jacksonville Middle School has been working the last several months to streamline its phone system.

JMS Principal Celeste Lashmett says the school receives a heavy call volume and they needed to create an easier approach for parents needing to report absences or make calls to the office: “When calling JMS, please make sure to listen to the new options for extensions. We’ve been working to streamline our phone system to improve communication. If you are reporting a student absence, you will be automatically transferred to a voicemail system. We experience a high volume of calls on a daily basis and do our best to answer every call. However, if you are unable to get through, please make sure to leave a voicemail, and we will call back as soon as possible.”
