A name synonymous with Carrollton sports is coming to South County basketball.
Josh Krumwiede was named the new Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at South County in a special meeting held by the Franklin School Board last night.
Krumwiede has been the head boys’ basketball coach at Athens since 2021. Krumwiede has previously coached at Dietrich and Staunton. He won two Class 1A regional titles in 2017 and 2018 as well as the outright National Trail Conference championship in 2018 with the Movin Maroons.
Krumwiede was a 2010 graduate of Carrollton High School
