Jacksonville City Council will take action on the proposed Lake Jacksonville Pedestrian Bridge tonight.

The West Lake Road Bridge, located at the crossing over Sandy Creek, was the topic of conversation last month during a Parks and Lakes Committee Meeting.

In other action, the utility department will look to approve several items in relation to the Lake Mauvaisterre Watershed Improvement Project and Water Treatment Plant Project.

Previously discussed items, like the lease agreement with the Abraham Lincoln Council of Boys Scouts of America and the purchase of a Cub Cadet ATV for the Parks and Lakes Department, will also be reviewed.

An intergovernmental agreement with the State of Illinois regarding the JDC Mechanical Stores will also be reviewed.

A workshop session at 5:30 kicks off the night at the Jacksonville Municipal Building.
