Emergency Crews and the Illinois State Police are currently on scenes of numerous traffic crashes with lane blockage on Interstate 72 from milepost 60 to 90. Traffic lanes are closed due to emergency crews. All traffic is urged to slow down when approaching the crash scenes. Interstate 72 is extremely hazardous with snow and ice covering the roadway.
