A 17-year old female juvenile was arrested this morning for two incidents from the last month at a downtown bar.
The juvenile was a person of interest in an alleged aggravated battery incident from the early morning hours of September 16th at The Depot. The juvenile and another 14-year old female juvenile were allegedly involved in a physical altercation at the tavern.
Both are alleged to have returned to the tavern on the evening of October 1st. The 14-year old female juvenile was cited for a city ordinance violation for being an underage person in the tavern on October 1st after they were located by police and removed from the tavern after another physical disturbance. The 14-year old did not have any other citations listed in police reports.
The 17-year old female juvenile was then entered as a person of interest in both cases.
The 17-year old female juvenile was arrested just before 5AM today at an apartment in the 700 block of East Chambers Street for the aggravated battery charge for the September 16th incident and a disorderly conduct charge for the October 1st incident. She remains held at the Morgan County Jail.
