The chief internal medicine physician at Passavant Area Hospital will soon become a member of a prestigious organization.
Passavant broke the news on Monday that Dr. Udit Verma will be elected to the Fellowship in the American College of Physicians.
The FACP is comprised of physician specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness.
Members must display excellence and contributions to both medicine and the broader community that they practice.
