Pleasant Hill Police Arrest Pike County Felon on Warrants, Drug Charges

The Pleasant Hill Police Department arrested a man who was on Mandatory Supervised Release from the Illinois Department of Corrections last night on a Pike County warrant and a probation violation.

Pleasant Hill Police arrested 24 year old Walter L. Michel of Nebo at a residence in the 200 block of Howard Street in Pleasant Hill after executing a Pike County Warrant for unlawful use of a credit card at 10:54PM. Subsequent to an investigation, Michel was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes, and ammunition. The Pike County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the investigation. Michel was also wanted on an IDOC parole violation.

Michel is currently being lodged at the Pike County Jail awaiting a first appearance in court.
