1 1/2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
2 cups crushed saltine crackers
1 can condensed cream of asparagus soup, undiluted
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
2/3 cup slivered almonds
4 oz American cheese, cubed
Combine asparagus, crackers, soups, almonds, cheese and egg in crock pot slow cooker. Toss to coat. Cover and cook on high 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Season with pepper if desired.
