License sticker renewals will soon be offered at select drive through locations in Illinois, beginning next week.

Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced today that beginning Tuesday, May 19, seven facilities across Illinois will be offering drive-through services for vehicle registration sticker transactions.

The Secretary of State Offices located on Dirksen Drive in Springfield, along with facilities in Macomb Chicago, Rockford and Titlton were selected due to already having existing drive through configurations on site.

White says the sticker renewals will be the only transactions allowed at the drive-through sites at this time. However he says this is the first step in a comprehensive reopening plan for Driver Service facilities that he says will be announced, “shortly”.

The Springfield drive-through sticker service will be open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

White continues to urge the public to renew registration stickers online by going to cyberdriveillinois.com
