A 20-year-old-woman remains in critical condition after being shot in Jacksonville this morning.
The only available information comes from a press release from the Jacksonville Police Department.
Officers received a report of shots fired in the 11-hundred block of North Clay at around 3:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located a black female with a gunshot wound.
The press release states that evidence was recovered during the investigation that indicates multiple shots were fired.
The victim, whose name is not being released, was taken to Passavant Area Hospital and later transported to Memorial Hospital.
